Member can terminate subscription

Settings to activate the feature and step-by-step instructions on how the member can complete the process.

Activate the function

Settings

This feature must first be activated to be available as an option on the subscription types and then it is set per subscription which ones members should be able to terminate on their own.

  1. To enable the feature, go to Settings>Customers and scroll down under "Registration Settings" until you see "Subscription Cancellation Settings".
  2. Check the box "Allow user to cancel subscription".
  3. Alternatively, you can also specify a person who will receive a notification when a user terminates if you still want to keep track. Select that person in the "Users to notify when subscription is terminated" box.
  4. Then go to Customers>Subscription Types and edit the subscription types that should be able to be terminated by members.
  5. Check the box "Allow user to cancel subscription".

Now the members can terminate the subscription themselves, of course they cannot terminate before the binding period is over and if there is a set notice period, it will also take effect. So depending on the binding and notice period, the system will give the earliest possible date for termination.

How does it work for members?

Step-by-step

To end their subscription, the member needs to be in the web version of Wondr, it cannot be done via the app yet. However, the web version can be easily accessed via the app. Below are step-by-step guides for both the app and the web.

The app

  1. Click on the three lines in the menu.
  2. Click on "Web version" at the bottom left of the page.
  3. Click on the round icon with a person.
  4. Select "Subscription".
  5. Scroll down a bit and click "Cancel" on the current subscription.
  6. Select the reason for termination and confirm the termination.
  7. They will be notified of the date the subscription will end based on the current binding and notice period.

The Web

  1. Click on the round icon with a person.
  2. Select "Subscription".

  4. Select the reason for termination and confirm the termination.
  5. They will be notified of the date the subscription will end based on the current binding and notice period.
