Create a new notification
This article describes how to create a new type of notification. A new notification can be useful, for example, when you have created a smart rule and want a message to be sent in connection with the rule.
Create a new notification type
Go to Settings > Communication > Notification types.
Create a new type by clicking the plus sign in the top right corner.
Choose a name for the note (internal)
Describe what the notice contains. This text is not visible to members, only to you at the facility.
Check this box if you do not want members to be able to choose how they want to receive this notification (email, push or text message)
Check this box if you do not want customers to be able to turn off this notification.
Choose how the notification should be sent by default (Email, push to phone or SMS). You can choose several. If you have not checked the box "hide setting for the user", the customers can change this themselves.
When you are satisfied with the notification, click save.
Now the text of the notification should be set
Go to Communication > Notification texts
The note you just created is now in the list, to edit it and add text, click the pencil icon on the right.
Choose a subject for the notification, this will be the subject line in the email and the headline for text messages and push to phone.
Write the text for the notification.
When you are satisfied with the text content of the notification, click save.
The notification is now available as an option when you make manual mailings to customers and can also be automated by building it into a smart rule.
