Installing your own check-in station (Windows)

Step-by-step guide for installing Wondr on a self-purchased check-in station.

Do this:

  1. Make sure the computer to be used as a check-in station has Google Chrome installed.

  2. Download the file (Start wondr.bat) attached to this article to the computer that will be used as the check-in station.

  3. Click the Windows key + R and type shell:startup, then select OK.

  4. Drag the downloaded file (Launch wondr.bat) into the folder that opens.

  5. Double-click the file and a box with a device code will open.

  6. Then follow the instructions on the screen and in Wondr select "Program check-in scanner" when you get to that step.

  7. If something else needs to be connected to the computer for check-in (e.g. a QR scanner, tag reader or similar) and you don't already have one, there is more information about that below.

NOTE! The computer cannot be used for anything else, the Wondr software must always be the only program running. So it is not possible to use a computer that is also to be used as a reception computer, this station must be completely independent.
